           29/11/07 Berlin Arne Friedrich, a member of the German national football team, is a sports ambassador for *stars of tomorrow!  Arne Friedrich is the first sports ambassador for *stars of tomorrow. He announced his commitment to *stars of tomorrow at a press conference today held at the legendary FC Magnet football bar in the Mitte district of Berlin."I want to use my joy and passion for football to help children in South Africa," said Friedrich. "The next Football World Cup will take place in a country where many children need our help beyond the football festivities at major stadiums. For me and for *stars of tomorrow, these children are the real stars of the future," he added. In addition to Arne Friedrich, speakers included Christa Dammermann, a children's rights expert at Save the Children Deutschland e.V., and Rainer Eppelmann, Berlin representative of CARE, who described their valuable work on-site as partners of *stars of tomorrow.
