           20/11/07 Berlin *stars of tomorrow chosen as a 2008 "Place of Ideas"!  *stars of tomorrow convinced the jury for the site campaign known as "Deutschland – Land der Ideen" ("Germany – Land of Ideas") sponsored jointly by the German federal government and German industry, and will represent the country's future-oriented, creative potential as a so-called "Place of Ideas".This campaign called for applications to the "365 places in the Land of Ideas" project for 2008. Its aim is to introduce and celebrate Germany's creative potential in the areas of society, art, culture, social responsibility, education, music, sports, technology, science, and business. According to the main selection criteria, the ideas must be both future-oriented and original. A 17-member jury of representatives from government, the arts, and business agreed that *stars of tomorrow meets these criteria, and therefore named our aid initiative as one of the 365 "Places of Ideas" from among approximately 1500 submissions. The "places" honored by the project are not geographical in the strict sense but rather policy-oriented, because "places of ideas" exist everywhere where innovative, ground-breaking ideas arise and are actively pursued. *stars of tomorrow is now officially one of these places and is especially pleased about the chance to present itself at an event on its "Idea Day" entitled "A night for the stars of South Africa".
